Jack Herer Strain

Jack Herer contains a stench that truly makes it a spicy sativa. Give the buds a little squeeze and pull and Jack will surely release a tropical frost smell so strong it will have you wanting to give it a few good sniffs. Its ability to cool your throat with its cold and icy vapor makes me wish this batch of Jack Herer was lab-tested for terpenoids.

By knowing what terpenes Jack Herer has high levels of, one can determine which terpenoid is responsible for the chilling effect so attractive to those suffering from asthma or other lung-related illnesses. After all, the smoke seems to coats your throat with a protective shield (from the heat) and leaves an amazing after-taste of sweet grapefruit that seems to linger for minutes.

As with most clear (as opposed to heavy) Sativa strains, patients can expect an upbeat, energetic high that is predominately a head buzz. Used by patients to treat and help cope with anxiety, nausea, depression, migraines, headaches, stress, and more.

Jack Herer Strain

One of the most grown and most respected strains around the world,

Jack Herer autoflower is a grower’s dream. Its fast flowering plants and high yielding

characteristics truly embodies the quality it represents. It is resistant to many common diseases and easy to grow, making Jack Herer an absolute staple.

The Jack Herer strain is a sativa-leaning hybrid that is well-known for its medicinal benefits. It’s also simple to grow, making it a good choice for newcomers to cannabis cultivation. It has a flavor profile that is dominated by citrus (with notes of pine and skunk thanks to its Shiva Skunk parent). It also provides a lot of energy, making it ideal for a morning wake-up smoke.

Jack Herer Strain

With nine Cannabis Cup medals for Best In-Class Flower under its belt, it’s only natural that the Jack Herer weed strain was named after one of the most famous cannabis campaigners in history.
As a person, Jack Herer was a tireless advocate for hemp and marijuana legalization.
Jack Herer suffered a heart attack and a significant stroke in July of 2000. This would make it difficult for Jack Herer to communicate and move his right side of his body. Jack Herer miraculously recovered from the majority of his injuries. In fact, Jack Here would later say that a psychotropic fungus known as “Amanita muscaria” was the most effective cure for his ailments.

Unfortunately, Jack Herer suffered another moderate heart attack in September 2009 while working behind the scenes at the Hempstalk Festival in Portland, Oregon. In early October, Herer was transferred to another medical center after only a few weeks. On the other hand,
The flowers of Jack Herer aren’t very eye-catching: light to medium green leaves create densely-packed buds that are more elongated than rounded. Because of the high trichome count, this is an extremely sticky plant to handle. Jack Herer makes up for his lack of facial attractiveness with his smell.

The blossoms have a strong floral scent with undertones of orange and lemon zest when properly cured. When you break open the dense buds, you’ll notice more of the citrus aroma, as well as a peppery kick. The blooms have a remarkably clean and herbal aroma, comparable to sage, when burned. The smoke is incredibly smooth and easy to smoke, and it has a similar herbal flavor. Although not particularly intense, Jack Herer’s scent lingers.
Sensi Seeds’ brilliant Dutch breeders performed an incredible job of reproducing Herer’s personality and historical significance, translating his cheerful attitude and endless energy into a reefer strain with the same international appeal.
Forward to today, and it’s clear that the Jack Herer strain has had a significant impact on the cannabis world; it’s become the parent plant for a number of well-known cannabis strains, including Jack Skellington, Jack the Ripper, Critical Jack, and Jack’s Cleaner, all of which were developed from the original Jack Herer.
